Taiwan’s BizLink Holding Inc. has agreed to acquire Blackstone Inc.’s information and communications technology business Interplex Datacom.

BizLink will buy the Singapore-based business for an enterprise value of $850 million in cash, according to a statement Wednesday, which confirmed an earlier Bloomberg News report . The agreement also includes an additional $50 million contingent consideration.

The transaction is expected to be completed in the second half of the year, pending closing conditions.

A partner of Nvidia Corp., BizLink makes a range of products from drone interconnects to ultrasound and magnetic resonance imaging systems, its website shows. The company’s shares are up 42% this year in Taipei, giving it a market value of $13.3 billion.

“This transaction is another pivotal moment in BizLink’s journey,” Chairman and co-founder Roger Liang said in the statement. The acquisition “will help meet the accelerated demand we are seeing from our customers.”

Blackstone acquired Interplex for an undisclosed sum in 2022 from Baring Private Equity Asia. In 2023, Interplex spun off its automotive connector business into a new company called Ennovi, with both firms owned by Blackstone.

Blackstone will continue to support Ennovi’s push in electrification and medical devices, said Haide Hong, senior managing director at Blackstone Private Equity.

Citigroup Inc. was exclusive financial adviser to BizLink and will provide debt financing for the acquisition. JPMorgan Chase & Co. advised Blackstone.
