China revised the release time for its July economic data to 3 p.m. Monday, breaking with recent practice.
The National Bureau of Statistics updated its schedule to show the new time. The State Council Information Office will hold a briefing on the figures at 3 p.m. as well, according to a notice posted on its app.
Recent economic data releases and briefings typically began together at 10 a.m. Monday’s timetable moves both to the afternoon.
Separately, China will hold a ceremony at the Great Hall of the People at 10 a.m. Monday marking the 100th anniversary of former President Jiang Zemin’s birth. President Xi Jinping will attend and deliver a speech, according to state broadcaster China Central Television.
