Aritzia Inc. stock is having its best trading day in more than a year as accelerating growth in the US and in online sales delivered another quarterly beat and full-year guidance boost.
Shares of the Canadian clothing retailer soared by as much as 19% to C$144.77 at its peak on Friday, which marked its biggest intraday advance since April 2025. The rally was enough to return the share price to mid-August levels.
“Aritzia once again reported impressive financial results,” Stifel Canada analyst Martin Landry said in a Thursday note, calling the company “one of the hottest brands in the apparel sector.”
Landry highlighted that robust in-store traffic growth has significantly boosted sales per square foot. The new guidance gives better visibility into the Vancouver-based company’s future revenue growth rate, he said.
Aritzia earned C$1.31 per share on an adjusted basis in the second quarter of fiscal 2027, coming in ahead of the C$1.05 per share expected by analysts in a Bloomberg survey.
The company also boosted its guidance for fiscal 2027 — it’s now forecasting net revenue to range between C$4.78 billion and C$4.88 billion. Previously, it expected C$4.55 billion to C$4.75 billion.
Digital net revenue and sales in the US were the biggest sources of growth in the second quarter, both segments gaining by more than 60% compared with the prior year as the company expands into other markets and develops its online store.

Demand for the retailer’s product “remains resilient despite macro pressures,” Desjardins Securities analyst Chris Li said in a note, adding that it’s “a testament” to its compelling suite of offerings and rising brand awareness.
Li said the company’s updated guidance of “mid-teens revenue growth is sustainable over the longer term.”
