This week on Everybody’s Business from Bloomberg Businessweek , hosts Stacey Vanek Smith and Max Chafkin talk football in all its forms, especially women’s flag football, as columnist Amanda Mull joins the show to discuss her feature on the growing sport.

Women’s sports has been growing in investment and fandom for years. On the heels of a major investment from the National Football League (more than $190 million) and news the sport will be part of the 2028 Olympics, young women (and their proud parents) are flooding into the fledgling world of flag football. Mull reports on a tournament she visited where players and families from all over the world came to rally around the flag.

Then, Bloomberg Businessweek Editor-in-Chief Brad Stone joins to talk about dynamic pricing (sometimes called discriminatory pricing). Max goes into detail about the subject in his recent article about how retailers like Walmart appear to be locking down technology that will help them figure out how much they can charge you (Walmart has denied this claim). Stone talks about Amazon’s practices and where this technology may be going.

About the show: every week, hosts Stacey Vanek Smith and Max Chafkin take a look at the week’s business news and break down what you need to know with the help of Bloomberg journalists, experts and the people and businesses trying to navigate the economy every day.
